A magnificent view of the Sol Duc meadows, tree-lined river, an occasional elusive elk or maybe even a bull elk await guests. Modern furniture and wall art are set off by the hand rubbed natural woods, rock work and unusual lighting.

We were traveling through Washington and Oregon on vacation, and this beautiful inn was the perfect place to stay! The hosts are very gracious, breakfast each morning was amazing, and the inn is close to several attractions and activities. We highly recommend Misty Valley!!!

The owners were very friendly, breakfast was great (get the pancakes!), they had a big common area with snacks, coffee, games, and movies to watch. You will be in close proximity to other guests, so if you want total privacy this might not be the place. But we met some nice couples and had fun having a glass of wine and playing games. In my opinion, this is the only place you should stay if you're in Forks!

We were traveling as a family for the first time in the PNW and I came across MVI through a blogpost I was reading.  So, I checked it out and cannot say enough great things about our stay.  Every detail from the large and comfortable beds and bedsheets to the views from the rooms, to the plush robes for guests were luxurious.  Our breakfasts were delicious with attention to dietary needs and homemade treats were available in the evening.  Tricia even noticed that a member of our party was gluten free and made sure to make something that was gluten free.  So grateful for that.  Our hosts were knowledgable about the area and helped us plan a wonderful 3 day holiday.  While we planned to go to Olympic National Park while staying at MVI, we could have simply stayed at the Inn all day.  It was that relaxing.  We were so glad to stay at MVI and would highly recommend it!

Our room was clean, cozy, and comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic, and the evening dessert was a thoughtful added touch (the lemon bars were my personal favorite). The deck views were peaceful, and the living room was perfect for relaxing with a movie. I hope to stay here again someday and would recommend it to anyone visiting the area!
