Our beautiful grounds, which include our lawn and garden areas, can be utilized for pictures and to create a beautiful backdrop for your event.

Misty Valley Inn Events


We are the perfect place for small intimate weddings, vow renewals, elopements, family reunions, wine tasting, or any other small intimate gathering. We are open for events year-round, depending on calendar availability.

We can accommodate as little as 2 or a maximum of 40 of your closest friends & family, depending on the size of your event.

Plus, Sales Tax and Cost of Rooms (2-night minimum stay required) All rooms must be booked, except for the Micro Event, only 1 room will be required) – Prices subject to change.

A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the Event fee is due when booking the 2-night minimum stay to secure the date along with a signed contract. The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to the event. In the event of a cancellation, all payments made to date are non-refundable. In addition, for medium and large events a $500.00 damage deposit is due 30 days prior to the event and returnable within 14 days after the event if no damage has occurred. Prices subject to change and rates not locked in until booking is complete. Please note medium and large events will require the use of our local Event and Wedding Planner. 

The Venue

Use of the Inn’s common areas, inside or outside, for micro and small events.  Use of the Inn’s common areas for medium and large events will be limited to outside use.

*Please note, for medium and large events you will be responsible for renting tables, chairs, decorations, and any other items needed for your event. For micro and small events, tables and chairs are provided. Any decorations or other items will be your responsibility to bring or rent.

Event Information

HOURS

Events may start as early as 10:00am and last 12 hours ending by 10:00pm, including any setup or cleanup time.  Micro Events will have a pre-scheduled 2-hour time frame.

RESTROOMS

For medium and large events there will be portable restroom(s) for guests to utilize.  There will be no guests permitted indoors other than registered guests.

PARKING

There will be ample parking for micro and small events.  The parking will be limited for medium to large events, carpooling will be necessary.

CATERERS

You are welcome to bring the caterer of your choice.  There is no food preparation on site, all caterers must be self-contained.

ALCOHOL

Beer, wine, and spirits are allowed on the premises a banquet permit is required ($10.00) and a licensed server must serve alcohol.  Micro and small events that choose to bring beer and wine only, will not need a permit and can be served by the licensed staff of the Inn.

MUSIC

For small, medium, and large events, you are welcome to bring music or the DJ of your choice.  With neighbors nearby, music may need to be turned down after 9pm.

ATTENDANT

An attendant will be provided to assist with parking, accept deliveries, and be available for any questions or issues that arise during event.

CLEAN UP

Everything needs to be either packed up and taken away at the end of the night or deposited into the garbage cans provided by MVI.  MVI will dispose of the garbage.

INSURANCE

For Medium or Large events, a certificate of Liability Insurance (one-day event insurance) must be provided 30 days before your event. This can be purchased online from “WedSafe".

CHILDREN & PETS

All events must adhere to our Inn policy regarding children & animals. We do not allow any children under the age of 14.  We do not allow animals of any kind, including service animals.  Please inform your guests
